Our community outreach is inspired by Jesus’ life of serving those in need, showing love and fostering compassion. Modern Christian outreach continues this mission, embodying Jesus’ message of love, justice, care, and support for all.

Parkdale Pantry

Parkdale Pantry partners with local stores to rescue food that was destined for landfill. Through the help of many volunteers Parkdale Pantry is able to assist many in the community.

Uniting – School Leaver Employment Supports

This pathway to employment program supports school leavers living with a disability to build confidence, explore their goals and plan for a bright future.

This program operates from St David’s Parkdale

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Chelle’s Saving Starfish

Making care packs for people undergoing cancer treatment. These important care packs are delivered to around 8 Melbourne hospitals.

Donations are welcome. Packing of the care packs is done monthly.

Craft Group

Meeting every week for thirty years, this group of crafty people make goods to raise money for Cancer Research.

Everyone is welcome with a shared morning tea each week.
